RESPONSIBILITIES OF BRIDE AND GROOM

  1. The bride and groom must first set a meeting with the Pastor/Priest at least 6 (six) months before the wedding.
  2. Once the bride and groom have chosen a date, a $150.00 deposit is collected to hold a date and time. The balance of $150.00 is due no later than one (1) month before the wedding. Total donation is $300.00. (If you change or cancel plans, notify at office at least 2 months before the scheduled date to receive refund).
  3. Baptismal, 1st Communion and Confirmation certificates of each person are required. If not baptized, please let the Priest know. Submit original certified (with recent date at least 6 months) and the office will return these after we make copies for our files.
  4. Make arrangements for Pre-Cana class. By calling (916) 733-0123, brochure has the dates and times of classes.
  5. Complete the forms A and forms B given to you during the interview with the Priest.   These forms to be completed after the Pre-Cana class.
  6. After attending the Pre-Cana class, make an appointment to meet with the Priest who is doing the ceremony.
  7. Call the Colusa County Recorder’s Office for wedding License at (530) 458-0500. (546 Jay St. Colusa, CA 95932). If you are already married please bring a copy of certificate of marriage.
  8. Make arrangements for music for your wedding. You may use someone from the list below:

  1. Make arrangements for a photographer.
  2. At the time of picking up your paper work at the Parish Center Office you will receive a book called “Together for life” please go through it and pick out your readings for the ceremony. Pick 1, 2 or 3 readers to do the readings. You will need 1-B, 1-C and 1-D. the officiating priest will read the Gospel. You will need someone to read the prayers of the faithful, which is on page 80 of the booklet.
  3. Please call the Parish Center Office to set up time for rehearsal, and for any questions pertaining to paper work, or other details.
  4. All paper work should be completed and returned to the Office ONE month before the wedding.
    Make sure that on the day of the wedding the entire party is on time.

RESPONSABILIDADES DEL NOVIO Y LA NOVIA

  1. El novio y la novia deben hacer cita con el padre. (Se les entregara esta lista de información/requisitos).
  2. Se requieren copias recientes de los certificados de Bautismo, Primera Comunión  y Confirmación de novio y la novia. Si no han recibido estos sacramentos, comuniquen al Padre.
  3. Costo total del uso de la iglesia es $300.00. Una vez que se fije la fecha para la boda, se requiere depósito de $150.00. El balance de $150.00 se deberá pagar a más tardar un mes antes del día de la boda. (Mas una donación para el padre que oficie la ceremonia el día de la boda).
  4. Hacer arreglos para las clases pre-matrimoniales (Pre-Cana). El número de teléfono es (916) 733-0123 para que se inscriban  los dos novios. La dirección es 2110 Broadway, Sacramento, CA 95918.
  5. Después de salir a la clase pre-matrimonial (Pre-Cana), hacer cita con el padre que oficiara la ceremonia y se llenaran las Formas A y Forma B.
  6. Llamar a la oficina del Condado de Colusa Country Recorder  para sacar la licencia de matrimonio  al (530) 458-0500 (546 Jay St.) Colusa, CA 95932. Necesitan llevar pasaporte o licencia de manejar, costo es de $68.00 dólares y la licencia es válida por 90 días, deben ser mayores de 18 años y estar presentes los dos. Si ya están casados por el civil, se necesitan de entregar  una copia del certificado de matrimonio al civil.
  7. Hacer arreglos para la música del día de la boda. Pueden hablar con alguno de los siguientes coros: Laura Carrillo (530) 476-2072, Noemi  Mora (530) 476-2055 (Arbuckle) y  Santos Jáuregui (530) 473-2185 (Williams).

  1. Hacer arreglos con un fotógrafo.
  2. Hacer cita para la práctica antes del día de la boda. Escoger las lecturas del libro “Juntos para toda la vida” B, 1-8. C, 1-7. D, 1-10 y lectores.
  3. Todos los papeles deberán  se ser entregados en la oficina cuando menos un mes antes de la ceremonia.
  4. Confesarse antes de la Ceremonia, el día de la práctica o un día antes de la boda.
    Estar puntuales para la ceremonia y  así evitar cancelarla.
